Back in the UK : St.Albans (Oxfam Walk) and introducing FairTrade India.
Massive support from the indomitable Hilary, Philip and friends. Inviting me to be part of Herts Walk. This gave me the option of meeting many, including the mayor of St.Albans and his family. I learnt much from this walk, which has been going on for the last 2 decades, raising substantial money for Oxfam. The idea of two new fair trade towns emerging in India grabbed much interest among the walkers, and admiration.
I am off to Luton on the 27th to meet "Grassroots", a ecumenical group that has shown keen interest in our work as they themselves have an exclusive fair trade shop.
