Message from the CEO of Dibella Textiles , Mr. Sreeranga Rajan

Mr.Rajan is the CEO of Dibella India, and the co-founder of Arthur and Henry, an ethical-minded men's shirt company based in London. He has also worked for the Fairtrade Foundation and Fairtrade International. A textile engineer by education, he is trying to combat the negative impact of the fashion industry on the manufacturing of clothes.

His message of support :

"When the world seems to be a troubled place rife with terrorism, warfare, poverty and unfair trade, there are heroes who prove to us that no matter how much suffering there is in the world, there are supremely good people around whom we can count on to do the right thing, even when most other people are not. Heroes who are beacons of light amidst this vast darkness. Heroes who show that the impossible will take just a little while longer.

Push is one such inspiring hero that I have the privilege and honour of knowing for few years. Never seen such a tireless campaigner fighting for a fairer world in which trading norms are based on ethics and sustainable values and not the norms driven by corporate greed. He ferociously campaigns for the need for ambitious global action on climate change.

He is on his yet another ambitious 450 kms walk from Pondicherry to Ooty from 20th November'15 to 10th of December'15 to coincide with the UNFCCC climate change conference in Paris where the world leaders meet to decide the policies that impact the future of our generation and the generations to come. I will have the honour of walking with him for few miles and during his journey, he will visit Dibella fair-trade production facility and inspire our colleagues.

Please spread the word on climate change and trade justice and make his walk meaningful.

Go Push Go!"
